Isotonic drinks are far superior to other drinks in delivering energy, nutrients, and the promise of increased endurance performance. This drink is designed for athletes and all people who have an increased physical load.

Water intake is vital for an athlete during training. Every percentage of water lost during a workout affects the overall effectiveness of the workout. The water balance in the body is controlled by electrolytes (electrolytes: sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium and chloride), so many electrolytes are lost during exercise, along with water. If the body becomes critically deficient in electrolytes, the muscles, including the heart muscle, lose their ability to fully contract.

This process can result in the body emitting catabolic (breakdown-oriented) enzymes that will break down the muscle tissue previously created. The loss of electrolytes is not only dangerous for the athlete's performance and development, but also for his health.
